Special Guest Speaker:
This year’s speaker is Tom Cartledge, former Nottingham Forest Chairman, sharing insights from his remarkable career in leadership and business.
Tom is CEO of near 80-year-old Newark based family business, Benoy. Benoy are recognised as global leaders in commercial architecture and design, working across 50 countries, typically designing large-scale mixed-use projects such as Yas Island (Abu Dhabi), Sentosa Island (Singapore), IAPM (Shanghai) etc.
Alongside, Tom is also the Chair of Governors of Stamford School, Vice Chair of Newark Rugby Club and former Chair of the Newark Towns Fund (2019-2023) and former Chair of Nottingham Forest 22/3 and 23/4 seasons. Tom lives in Newark with his wife Jo and two sport obsessed teenage boys.
The evening concludes with a wrap up from the business club for 9pm with the bar open (and some networking time till 9.45pm). Note. This is not a formal ‘networking event’ so all attendees/spouses etc are very welcome to attend.
